Peanut Sesame Sauce ala din dai fung

Gravy ingredients:

  1. Peanut butter
  2. Sesame paste
  3. Sugar
  4. Soy sauce
  5. Black vinegar 
  6. Msg
  7. Grated ginger n garlic
  8. Add hot water if too thick
  9. Chili oil

Garnish with cucumber (julienne) and crushed peanut

Ways to Marinate Chicken

Chinese Style Marinate

Common Ingredients:

  1. 1 tbsp light soy sauce 
  2. 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  3. 2 tbsp Shaoxing Huatio (Chinese cooking wine) 
  4. smashed garlic
  5. 1 tbsp sugar

Chinese red fermented tofu recipe (makes about 20 wings)

  1. 3 cube red fermented tofu
  2. 2 tbsp red fermented tofu sauce
  3. 1 tbsp young ginger sauce
  4. 2 tbsp rice flour
  5. 5 tbsp corn flour
  6. few dashes of white pepper


Five spice powder

  1. 1 tbsp honey
  2. 1 teaspoon 5 spice powder
  3. 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Thai Fried Chicken Brine
  1. The 3 glue (white peppercorn, garlic, cilantro)
  2. Sugar
  3. Soy sauce (light)
  4. Fish sauce
Add rice flour into the marinated chicken (brine) before frying

Burnt Cheese Cake

Not exactly the original recipe, tweak abit to suit my liking, also not enough of eggs. 

Original recipe (Credit @chef.amri):

  1. Cream Cheese 250g 
  2. Gula halus 1/2cup 
  3. Telur 3 biji 
  4. Tepung gandum 2 sudu besar 
  5. Whipping cream 125ml  

Blend dulu telur 3 biji , then cream cheese dan seterusnya.. lepastu sapu butter sikit dekat loyang size 6inci. Takyah boh baking paper lagiπŸ˜„ 

AF dengan suhu 180 selama 25minit

Dah siap, biarkan sejuk then baru masuk peti ais. Bila sejuk baru potong nanti cantik kejadiannya.

Ingredients change to:

  1. sugar 4.5 tbsp
  2. flour 2.5 tbsp
  3. eggs 2 
  4. milk 20 ml (coz not enough egg)



The centre still abit runny/goey. Next time should leave it longger (for this amount of ingredients) ~30 min. 

Cheesecake are done when the centre is  ~65 cel. Next time can use a termometre to check, or tooth pick to check if the centre still gooey.
